I developed a PHP application that integrates with Microsoft Graph so users can create and update tasks in their personal or group Microsoft To-Do and Planner plans directly from a custom web app — embedding task management where the work already happens.
Tasks Living in Another Tab
Team coordination suffers when the work is in one system and the tasks are in another. People context-switch, tasks get forgotten, and plans drift. The goal was to embed Microsoft To-Do and Planner right into the custom application through Microsoft Graph, so creating and tracking tasks never means leaving the tool.
What I Delivered

PHP + Microsoft Graph
Built a PHP application that talks to Microsoft Graph for task operations.

Create & update tasks in-app
Users create and update tasks without leaving the custom web application.

Personal & group plans
Works across both personal To-Do and shared Planner group plans.

Streamlined coordination
Embedding tasks in the app tightens scheduling and team coordination.
Skills & Tools
The stack behind this build — tap any to see related work.
The Impact
Microsoft To-Do and Planner now live inside the custom application via Microsoft Graph — tasks created and updated in context, personal and group plans in one place, and noticeably less context-switching for the team.
Put the Tasks Where the Work Is
Every tool you have to leave is a tool you’ll eventually forget. Embedding To-Do and Planner directly into the app through Graph made task management a native part of the workflow instead of a separate chore.
