Paychex Time Clock Migration

I migrated timekeeping from Paycom to Paychex — deploying the new time-clock hardware and ensuring existing badges kept working through a TruPortal integration, so the switch was seamless for every employee.

Switching Payroll Without Missing a Punch

Moving timekeeping from Paycom to Paychex meant new hardware and a real risk: if employee badges stopped working, people couldn’t clock in. The migration had to deploy the new clocks and keep every existing badge valid through TruPortal.

The Impact

Timekeeping running on Paychex with new hardware deployed and every existing badge still valid through TruPortal — a payroll-system migration employees barely noticed.

Migrate the System, Not the People

The best infrastructure change is the one nobody has to think about. Keeping badges working through TruPortal made a full timekeeping migration feel like nothing changed — which is exactly the point.
