I built a fully integrated click-to-call system using the 3CX Call Control API and Active Directory — auto-detecting each employee’s extension and registered devices so staff can call customers directly from AccuDash, Lumen, and internal apps, with accurate caller-ID routing.
Manual Dialing, All Day Long
Every customer call started with someone reading a number and dialing it by hand — small friction, paid hundreds of times a day, with the occasional wrong number. The goal was click-to-call wired into the tools staff already use, keyed to the right extension automatically.
What I Delivered

3CX Call Control API
Built click-to-call on the 3CX Call Control API.

Active Directory integration
Used Active Directory to detect each employee’s extension and devices.

Call from any internal app
Enabled dialing straight from AccuDash, Lumen, and custom internal apps.

Accurate caller-ID routing
Ensured correct caller-ID routing across departments.

The Impact
One-click calling from AccuDash, Lumen, and internal apps — 3CX and Active Directory detecting the right extension and device automatically, with accurate caller ID and no manual dialing.
Remove the Friction You Pay Hourly
The costs that hide are the ones too small to notice — like dialing by hand, all day. Wiring click-to-call into every internal app erased that tax and got the caller ID right every time.
