I led the move from an on-prem Mitel Connect phone system to cloud-hosted 3CX — exploring, presenting, purchasing, and implementing the new PBX for 160+ users across 10 locations, including remote workers, and cutting annual phone costs by 85%.
The On-Prem Phone Bill
The on-prem Mitel system was expensive to run and rigid to change, and it couldn’t gracefully reach the remote workers the business increasingly relied on. Cloud PBX promised dramatic savings and flexibility, but cutting over 160+ users across 10 locations meant the phones could not go dark.

From On-Prem to 85% Off
The most expensive phone system is the one nobody has re-examined in years. Moving from on-prem Mitel to cloud 3CX cut the bill by 85% and made the phones work the way a distributed business actually operates.
