I built an advanced returns module for our Warehouse Management System that automatically captures and syncs updates from POS and delivery-routing software — so every returned item was accounted for the moment it hit the dock.
Returns That Vanished Into the Gap
Returned items lived in a blind spot between the POS, the delivery routing, and the warehouse floor — tracked manually, if at all. That gap meant errors, mis-counts, and inventory you couldn’t act on. Closing it required the WMS to hear about a return in real time.
What I Delivered

Real-time capture
Built the module to capture and sync returns automatically from POS and delivery-routing software.

WMS integration
Wired returns straight into the Warehouse Management System, accounted for on arrival at the dock.

Instant visibility
Gave the team instant visibility into returned items for fast processing, restocking, or disposal.

Accurate inventory
Cut manual tracking errors and kept inventory counts accurate as returns flowed in.

The Impact
Every return accounted for the moment it arrived — synced automatically across POS, routing, and the warehouse floor, with instant visibility that turned a manual blind spot into accurate, actionable inventory.
See the Return, Sell the Item
Inventory you can’t see is inventory you can’t move. Syncing returns into the WMS in real time closed a costly gap — fewer errors, cleaner counts, and returned product back in play faster.
